Support with wash / shower

Shower: Collect belongings and use stroller to escort to shower block
Ensure windows on right hand side are closed
Support with removing clothing and support into shower chair.
Support with washing back and stand behind the curtain
INFORM MALE MEMBER OF STAFF TO STAND BY SHOWER ROOM DOOR.
Support with getting dressed and escort back to cell.

Washing . ALWAYS ask a male member of staff to look through cell door hatch or come into the cell while you are supporting with personal care.

Washing: Support by removing top clothing and wash front and back, support to dry
Support with clean clothing.
Support to stand by either standing either side or using the walker.
Once standing support to remove bottoms and pad, AR to wash front and staff to support by cleaning bottom.
Once sitting wash feet and legs and apply creams as required.
Support with fresh pad and clean bottoms if possible.
